WebRough set theory is a relatively new mathematical tool for use in computer applications in circumstances which are characterized by vagueness and uncertainty. In this paper, we introduce the concepts of information entropy, rough entropy and knowledge granulation in rough set theory, and establish the relationships among those concepts. WebThe construct of knowledge of EFL classroom interaction is a pilot inquiry to create an interface between “theory knowledge” and “practice knowledge” from the teachers’ needs. In the end of the article, a rough knowledge framework is constructed for EFL classroom interaction on teachers’ needs.
WebRough approximations. The key idea of the rough set philosophy is approximation of one knowledge by another knowledge. In DRSA, the knowledge being approximated is a collection of upward and downward unions of decision classes and the "granules of knowledge" used for approximation are P-dominating and P-dominated sets. WebSusann Roth leads a group that advises on knowledge management best practices to enhance efficiency, quality and innovation at ADB. The team tests new ways for better multi-disciplinary collaboration and problem solving such as human centered design thinking, foresight and futures thinking. Displaying 1 - 10 of 72.
WebRough order of magnitude (ROM) refers to an initial estimate of the cost of a project or parts of a project. It has an expected accuracy of -25% to +75% according to the PMBOK (other sources suggest -50% to +50%). In other words, the actual costs of a project are typically expected to be between 75% and 175% (or 50% to 150%) of the ROM estimate. Pawlak at the beginning of the 1980s, is extensively used for pattern recognition. RS has emerged as a powerful mathematical tool for handling uncertainty, that is, indiscernibility between objects in a set.
