Immersed isogeometric analysis
WitrynaAs an application of the developed interrogation technique the isogeometric design and analysis of lattice-skin structures is investigated. The skin is a spline surface that is usually created in a computer-aided design (CAD) system and the periodic lattice to be fitted consists of unit cells, each containing a small number of struts. WitrynaThen, we develop novel stabilization techniques based on a modification of the variational formulation, which allow us to recover well-posedness and guarantee accuracy. Optimal a priori error estimates are proven, and numerical examples confirming the theoretical results are provided. Keywords isogeometric analysis trimming …

Witryna1 lis 2009 · In isogeometric analysis the functions from the geometry description are used as basis functions for the analysis. Thus, the analysis works on a geometrically exact model and no meshing is necessary. This offers a possibility to close the existing gap between design and analysis as both use the same geometry model. flowsleeps pillowWitryna1 mar 2024 · Abstract and Figures Ill-conditioning of the system matrix is a well-known complication in immersed finite element methods and trimmed isogeometric analysis.
