I had the Darkglass Microtubes 900 and swapped it for the Alpha Omega (for the graphic EQ) and I love them both. But these are amps for heavy tones... Although you might be using them for softer tones, you will be missing 80% of the (heavy) abilities of these amps.

Sorry to not be of much help but they are both great amps that would both fit your style. May just need to find a way to play them.
