She also lied to her clan, letting them believe Birchface was her mate instead. Who killed Mapleshade? Perchpaw. Which three cats fell as victims to Mapleshade? Ravenwing, Frecklewish and Appledusk. WebAppledusk struck Birchface hard, and Mapleshade openly grinned as Birchface slipped off the rock and into the roaring water. Appledusk's terrified face could be easily remedied when they met later. Mapleshade's grin dropped a bit when she saw Lilypaw, or whoever she was, jump in after Birchface, but she didn't let it ruin her mood.
